The rooms and location were fine, but my late night experience with the man at the front desk was awful. I left Sunday morning at 10 and stored my luggage as hostel policy allowed. Maybe the woman at reception forgot to give me the luggage coupon. When I returned at 1:30 at night to collect my bag, the man demanded the coupon and immediately started yelling, calling me a thief and abusing me without hearing me out. I showed him my bookings and passport, but he still argued with me for 15 minutes, even though he knew my bus left at 2 am. I only just managed to catch it. The women at reception had been helpful. The hotel manager should look into this.

The bathrooms and toilets were dirty and unhygienic, and there were no towels at all, which isn't acceptable even for a basic hostel. The walls are so thin that noise carries through and it was impossible to rest. This stay was really poor, with a lack of basic cleanliness, comfort, and proper facilities. I wouldn't recommend it.

The taps only run for a second, and the lights turn off after five seconds, so you have to wave your hand or press the button again and again. There was no warm water, and the whole system felt messed up. Staff were very rude, and they charge for every basic necessity that other places provide free. One of the worst places to stay in Prague.

The location was good, and the rooms were fine, though there wasn't much space. The beds were comfy and the showers were fine too; I didn't notice anything especially bad. For the price, you can expect quite a lot, and the staff seemed friendly. The check-in process was really weird, though, and took longer than it should have.

The neighborhood felt pretty safe, and reception was very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the bathrooms really need updating or a deep clean. It's a very basic hostel, but for the price I'm happy with it. I'd recommend it if you're traveling alone.
