Adria Hotel Prague

The room was smaller than I expected, but had a cute, quaint feel. Breakfast was included, delicious, and had a good range. The location is incredible, right by a train station with access anywhere, on a shopping high street near the Old Town, and about a five minute walk from everything we wanted to see. The TV had no English channels, and subtitles didn't work either. The fridge smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we couldn't use it, though we didn't need it. A really great hotel, but a few things could use refreshing because of age and wear.

The front desk staff were especially friendly, and Dina was so sweet. Service was great, the rooms were clean, and the location was perfect. One suggestion: turn the heaters on before guests arrive. I got to my room at 8pm, switched the heater on myself, and it wasn't warm until after midnight.

The broken air-conditioning made a mechanical noise about every 10 minutes throughout my three-night stay, so I couldn't sleep. It wasn't ordinary background noise, and it continued even with the air conditioner switched off. I told the front desk right away and explained the apparent mechanical fault, but after saying they'd handle it shortly, the staff took no action during my stay. Their attitude made things worse. They were rude and dismissive, with no respect for how uncomfortable I was. This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in, bad enough that sleeping on the street seemed preferable. I'm leaving the country with a negative impression of the Czech Republic because of this experience alone. I strongly advise against booking this place. It was the worst, again, worse than being homeless.

The room price wasn't high, and the hotel served a good breakfast every day. My room was big enough and pleasant, and if I remember right it was A21, with a plaza view that wasn't noisy. I stayed from October 31 to November 3, 2025. The location is perfect. I'd recommend it to my friends and relatives. Thanks again. Beautiful Prague.
