Ahoy! Hostel

Great location and people, best hostel! I absolutely loved staying here. Di was a brilliant pub crawl host and made us feel so comfortable. It was easy to make friends and open up. We sang a lot, laughed a lot and played plenty of board games. There’s always loads going on in the neighborhood, and Di keeps an eye out for the best things to do so everyone has a good time. Really appreciate how he made all three of my nights there amazing!

The location was really good, and we could get everywhere we wanted quickly. The place had a good general feel, and the showers were okay. We did the pub crawl, which was fun, well organised, and took us to some good places. Our hostel room smelled like sewage, which was awful, and we all slept very poorly. We were charged full price for a room to get away from it, which annoyed us. The new room was good and had no issues.

If you’re in Prague to meet people and have a party, this is a good spot. They run evening drinking games and guided tours, and Di did a great job leading them. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and Abdul, Petr, Valeriy, and the two other women I met were all great, though I’m sorry I can’t remember those women’s names. The location is great and the hosts are too. There were some water problems, but they arranged solutions. Since it’s a hostel, getting along with roommates can be a bit of a gamble.

The evening games and activities were a highlight. Di did a great job bringing people together, and it made for a fun, welcoming night where solo travellers could bond. The hostel was spotless throughout my stay, and I had a great time. I’d recommend Prague Ahoy Hostel to solo travellers who want to meet new people.
