The elevators were the main drawback: they're slow, sometimes only two of the three work, and they won't move if you stand close to the doors, which limits their capacity. Apart from that, we had a great two-night stay with breakfast. The dining area isn't big, but it was enough, and you can order waffles made just for you. Our room was clean and had its own AC. The hotel is near the big shopping mall and has good bus and underground connections. The beds are very durable 😏

At breakfast, Daniil at reception told us we should have asked about everything ourselves, even though the hotel should have explained the breakfast hours at check-in. We'd only been eating for 15 minutes when we were told to finish, and nobody had mentioned the 10 am end time the night before. He said it was the guest's "duty" to ask. After I finished my complaint, he and Emile kept shouting things at me as I walked to the elevator. The trouble started at check-in. I'd requested a double bed, not two single beds pushed together, and paid before being given the key. When we got to the room, it had two singles. I went down to complain and was told double beds cost more, even though that was what I'd asked for from the start. Either they don't understand English or they don't know how to do their jobs. Emile at reception was rude and discourteous the next morning. The whole experience was very unpleasant. It's regrettable that the company hires staff who don't know how to deal with the public.

The room had stains on the carpets, a poorly cleaned bedside table, and bedding that wasn't arranged well. The corridor was a bit too dark. There were no tea bags or instant tea in the room, and the person running the bar wasn't properly trained or accommodating. I called reception from my room many times and got no answer, even though there were no customers downstairs. Really, really bad service. I definitely wouldn't suggest staying here.

At 10:30, half an hour before the 11:00 checkout, a housekeeper came into our room without knocking or saying anything. Breakfast was another strange experience: staff told us not to steal food because cameras were watching, and a lady monitored how much we ate and commented on leftovers. Nobody was trying to take anything anyway. As for the room, the old carpet was dirty and the bathroom could have been cleaner. I booked one night and didn't get what I expected.
