The rooms were neat and clean, but the A/C was preset, leaving the air hot and stuffy at night. There was also a noise like dripping water, almost like a faucet, that I’d have checked as a last resort since it can be annoying at night.

Inside, the room was clean and looked like the pictures, and the receptionist gave us a warm welcome. The breakfast was okay, with a modest but sufficient selection, though it starts very early, which isn't convenient if you like to sleep in. From the street, the building looked so plain and uninviting that we first thought it was a parking garage. The room turned out to be a disappointment for noise, though. The windows and room weren't soundproof at all: we could hear trains at the station right across the street, as well as every guest coming and going, especially at night. Parking was difficult too. We had a hotel space, but it was more like basic covered parking than a proper garage, with little structure and few amenities. For a relaxing trip, we’d choose somewhere else next time.

The terrace overlooking the whole racecourse is the standout feature. The nearby trains didn't bother us at all, and the place itself is in a quiet setting. Our room was clean and cozy. There’s a shared fridge and a fully equipped coffee maker in the hallway, along with teas, dishes, and other little items. Our room was about 50 metres away. Breakfast has a smaller range, but enough to cover the basics, and the coffee is really excellent. A great place for me.
