Bohemia Apartments Prague Centre

We arranged an early check-in between 6:00 and 7:00 with Bohemia apartments, and they accepted, saying it would cost 15 euros. But when we arrived, they told us the apartment was occupied until 10:00, would be cleaned at 11:00, and that we’d get the keys then. They said they would call, but the call didn’t come until 12:40, when they told us it was ready. When we asked questions and tried to get a refund, staff seemed not to understand and brushed us off, telling us to email their boss. I emailed a week ago and still haven’t heard back. There were only basic bathroom supplies, just hand soap, and no fresh towels. The iron had melted plastic residue on it, which ruined my friend’s shirt. Staff again seemed unsure what to do or didn’t understand when we brought it up.

The location is right in the center, so we didn’t need any transport. I was charmed by the welcoming feel, the furniture, and the cordial greeting. I really enjoyed my first stay at the Bohemia Apartment in Prague. We couldn’t have asked for more, and I’d suggest it to people of any age.

The apartment was roomy and large, but getting in took a lot of effort. No one was there when I arrived, so I waited outside in the freezing cold for over 20 minutes while figuring out how to make an international call to the front desk. Then there was confusion over the reservation. They tried to sort it out, but it took more than another half hour and several calls. The second bedroom was missing bedding for our two-person reservation. Staff were good about trying to fix the problems, but there was a lot of legwork involved for a two-night stay.

The interior design was lovely, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. I also appreciated being right in the city center.
