We had a room on level -1 with a small outdoor patio. It looked a bit like a cage, but it was still nice to have somewhere to step outside, and the room also had large upper windows. Self check-in was easy with a code for both the front door and our room. The apartment was roomy and had what we needed, including dishes, cutlery, a kitchen, fridge, and dishwasher, though there’s no breakfast. Cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and the tram and metro are all within walking distance. It could have been cleaner, with some stray hairs and dust around, but I’d probably stay again.

The apartment itself was okay, though not great. Cleaners and “inspectors” came in without warning and not on a reliable schedule. They said cleaning would happen every two weeks, but it was closer to every three. I’d been staying there since January 2026, for four months, and had paid each amount listed in my booking. At the start of April, they suddenly charged 20% more than the contracted nightly rate they had confirmed by email when I booked. I sent them that confirmation as proof, but got no response for three weeks. At the end of April, they threatened to evict me the next day. I believe that was illegal and against their own T&Cs and Czech criminal law. I complained to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority and went to the police. They told me my apartment and belongings could not be touched without a court order, and asked me to contact them if anyone tried to remove my things by force. Their support line was no help. They referred me to sales manager Valeriya, who ignored several emails with my documentation and then threatened eviction without addressing it. There are no on-site staff or phone numbers for anyone competent to sort out problems. Good luck trying to reach a real person. You might as well talk to a wall. The billing and handling of disputes felt borderline criminal. I would tell anyone considering a stay, especially a long one, not to book here. Update: The property eventually contacted me and tried to resolve the billing issue. They admitted the wrong amount was caused by a technical error on their side. It was a very unfortunate situation, but I appreciate that they did reach out in the end and honored the original nightly rate.

People were smoking in other rooms, and the hallway smelled of smoke. With no staff around, I imagine people do as they please, and some rooms may be pretty gross. My studio was a basic option for one or two people, with very little kitchen space. The pullout couch was passable and the shower was great. Cold air came through the wall under the bed and made my feet icy, though the room temperature was okay. The no-staff setup also meant no flexibility at check-in. They said they’d let me know when the room was ready, but I heard nothing until I was at the building. I’m sure the room had been ready for hours. There weren’t even enough coffee pods for one a day, and no way to get more. At $50 a night I’d call it great, but they charge regular hotel prices without delivering that kind of experience. If you get a good rate, go for it, but don’t expect much.

The room had a really bad smell the whole time, like rotten eggs coming from the bathroom. It was especially strong when we went in there, unless we opened a window. That needs fixing. Apart from that, I’d recommend staying here. Everything else was almost fine, though our first night started with a false fire alarm at 5 in the morning. I understand it’s for safety, and someone had pressed the button by accident. It seemed very easy to do.

The location was handy and fairly peaceful for us. It’s an easy walk to the center, though the hotel isn’t right in it. We really liked having a balcony, and the rooms were clean, modern, and practical. The kitchen was small but equipped well enough for what we needed, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. City Pop 2Night Prague was a great place to stay, though a bit pricey.
