Domus Balthasar Boutique Hotel

We loved how roomy and well kept our room was, and it looked just like the pictures. The building has been remodeled beautifully, and the self check-in was quick and easy. The rooms are gorgeous and the location is great. A couple of things to keep in mind: getting to the upper rooms means climbing a lot of stairs, which could be a problem if stairs are difficult for you. There were fans but no air conditioning in our room. That was fine in October, though it could get warm in summer. We had a fantastic stay at this real gem of a hotel.

The rooms are large and very comfortable, and were quieter than I expected despite my concern about noise. There's no desk on site, but check-in was super easy. Breakfast is available just around the corner. The location is hard to beat, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Right by Charles Bridge, this lovely boutique hotel is an extremely convenient base for seeing everything Prague has to offer. The rooms are large and spacious.

The people working here were warm and welcoming, and happy to help with directions, recommendations, or just a smile. Their local tips helped me find some hidden gems nearby. Domus Balthasar is just steps from Charles Bridge, but set back enough to feel peaceful away from the city's bustle. The historic building has lots of character, mixing old architecture with modern comfort. My room was spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated, with high ceilings, elegant wooden beams, and a very comfortable bed. I also appreciated the smaller touches, including complimentary coffee and tea, a bathrobe, and slippers. Domus Balthasar exceeded what I expected and made my Prague stay unforgettable. I'd gladly return and recommend it to anyone wanting a cozy, stylish place in Prague's historic center.
