For what we paid, it just wasn't worth it. The room felt very basic, the bed was uncomfortable, and cleanliness was minimal. Breakfast offered little variety and was basic too. The hotel definitely isn't five-star. Tourists end up sitting in the hallways because the lobby shuts so early.

Very clean and with plenty of staff, but this really doesn't come close to a five-star hotel. The place looks tired, though it does have that old-fashioned elegance. The lounge shuts at 19.00, and both the bar and the ‘French’ restaurant were closed. It's about 20 minutes from the old town and a few minutes from the main train station. No room service, and the so-called ‘European’ breakfast wasn't very good, with no orange juice at all. I'd call it a fancy bed and breakfast.

The room for three was spacious, clean, and had lots of storage, and breakfast was lovely, with hot food, croissants, cold cuts, and cake. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything, including the train station and main attractions, was within walking distance. The only drawback was the bath and shower, which had a very deep step to get over, more than 55.

The AC was a bit frustrating, with only turbo or off and no fan speed adjustment. Still, I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. It's very close to Prague train station, and my room had a comfortable bed with soft, plush linens. The marble tile in the bathroom gave it an immediate sense of luxury. I also found the restaurant comfortable for coffee and other drinks, even though not many people ate there.

The hotel initially confirmed my booking with a pet through the aggregator, then sent an extra mandatory rule about the dog's weight shortly afterward. They wouldn't cancel the reservation for free and charged me for one night's stay.
