Golden Prague Resort Salabka

Watching the vineyard and being around such kind staff made the atmosphere lovely. I’m writing now to say how grateful I am for the dishes and pairings I’ve enjoyed on my visits to Salabka. The food is spectacular, and so are the wines. It’s been a while since I last visited, in 2024, but I hope to see the amazing Salabka team again sometime in 2025.

The cozy setting, good wines, and very friendly server, who spoke perfect English, made for a lovely evening. The food was absolutely delicious and presented with a lot of detail, and I thought it was very good value for money. The main course could have been a bit larger, and the wine pairing didn’t include a dessert wine. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

The food was refined and delicious, and I loved the elegant setting. I’m still giving five stars because the chef made such lovely food, but the service at our table really shocked me. The young waitress accidentally dropped a decorative piece of food on the table while putting it on our plate. She picked it up and put it straight on the plate without asking or replacing it. She seemed friendly, but I think she needs more professional training. Maybe fancy restaurant work isn’t for everyone.

The peaceful green setting just above the Prague Zoo made it hard to believe we were still in the capital. Salabka felt like a quiet escape, yet remained close to the city. We found the rooms clean and beautifully designed, with comfortable luxury touches like Rituals cosmetics. The spacious modern bathroom was especially nice to come back to after a day out. Breakfast was delicious, made by skilled chefs with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the included parking was handy. From arrival, the hospitality was warm. It’s a cozy but luxurious place, and we’d happily return for another romantic break or a quiet getaway.
