Gregory House

It's a renovated building turned into apartments for tourists. Every room has its own bathroom, and the basic needs are covered. It's close to the main station and tram station. I'd recommend it.

The room was clean and fine, the location fairly central, and the price for one night really wasn't expensive. The receptionist was helpful, but the place was fully booked when we asked to move rooms. We stayed one night at Gregory House with our son. After changing our travel day, we cancelled and made a new reservation with the team by message, booking for two adults and one child through booking.com. We got a room with a queen bed and no other place for our son, so all three of us squeezed into one not very big bed. The room was on the ground floor and very hot, about 25-26 Celsius outside and about the same in the room. They gave us a fan, but it didn't cool things down enough. We had to leave the window open overnight, and noise and cigarette smoke kept coming in every half hour or so, as people from the apartment house came outside the entrance to smoke. It wasn't a pleasant stay. Maybe I'd feel differently if we'd had a room on the other side of the building.

We liked our two nights at gregory house. The beds were comfortable, the shower was very nice, and the view was pretty. There was no AC, but a fan helped. Laundry service was great: for 5 euros they washed, dried, and delivered everything the same day. The place is about a five-minute uphill walk, though it's still pretty close to a tram stop. We also found a hidden dinner spot nearby called Float. I'd rate it 4.5 and recommend it.

A lovely little place, really welcoming and friendly. The lady at reception was lovely, and the rooms were gorgeous and spacious, with a great shower. Good location, with nice places for food and drinks nearby. I'd recommend it, and would come back if I'm in Prague again.
