For 15-20 euros a night for two people, it was a really nice stay, especially since a promotion brought our rate down to 15 euros per night. We stayed three weeks. The staff were welcoming, and the cleaning ladies did a very good job, cleaning almost every day, though that can depend on your fellow guests. The bedding was changed weekly, which was a plus compared with another, much more expensive hotel. There’s a billiard table and some games. Our room was closest to the trains. I sleep deeply so it didn’t bother me, but I agree it’s very loud. The center is 35 minutes on foot or 10-15 by tram. Vyshgrad is nearby and worth a visit.

It’s a hostel, and it’s good value for the price. It’s not very clean or well built, and some rooms are beside a train station. They give you earplugs because of the station, and billiard is free for guests. There aren’t places nearby, so you have to travel a bit to reach landmarks or activities. Fine for a short, cheap trip to Prague.

The location is the only reason I’m giving it one star. The rooms are too small, there’s no Wi-Fi, and the block was really dirty, with lots of hair. The bathroom was dirty too, but the kitchen was the worst. It’s in the basement and smelled damp and moldy, and the surprise was rats in the kitchen. There’s no proper setup for cooking or eating. Absolutely horrible, never again. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The only problem they sorted out during our stay was the checkout charge: they tried to charge us almost double, and I had to show my booking confirmation. Apparently the staff had made a mistake. We were disappointed from the start. Our room faced the train station, as most rooms do, and was very noisy. There was construction near the hostel too, making noise early every morning. The pillows were old and very uncomfortable. We emailed about them and got an unprofessional response saying we’d booked a cheap room and they “can’t do anything now.” I’d already explained that we travel to hostels all the time and know what that kind of accommodation is like, but still expected a minimum level of comfort. They brought two pillows, one good and one just like the old one. In our six-day stay, from Monday night to Saturday, the toilets on our floor were never checked or cleaned. There was no toilet paper or hand soap from the second day. We asked at reception early in the morning, but there was still nothing when we came back that evening, and reception was closed when we went downstairs. Hand soap stayed empty the whole time; toilet paper arrived days later. Hostel staff only came to our floor to clean vacant rooms, never the toilets, even after we asked in person. The bins were full, showers were dirty and clogged with hair, the toilets were dirty, and the floor was dusty. The ground floor toilets were dirty too. We’re glad Prague is an amazing city, so we still enjoyed our holiday, but the hostel was a very bad experience.

A small, calm place with just a few rooms, so it doesn't feel like a huge hostel with people constantly passing through. The rooms are modern, clean, and have private showers. Great value for the price. I'd recommend it.
