The rooms are simple but have what you need for a night or two, and the location is nice, not far from the city centre. The staff seemed quite bored, and the charwoman shouted at you if you wanted to shower in the morning.

The receptionist and cleaners were rude. My room had no toilet or shower. Worst place to stay, even prison is better.
Best hostel ever from CVUT, right in the center of Prague.
It’s fine.
The staff made an already awful stay even worse. Three people checking guests in still meant a three-hour wait, and although they could take payment, they couldn't arrange a refund. For that, they sent me to a central office at 10:00 PM, saying this place was just one branch in a network of shelters. Their policy was no refund if you cancelled and left early, even with 24-hour notice. Once they had your money, that was it. The room itself was miserable. Renovations and bedding looked like they dated from Stalin's time, and the pre-war wooden couches they called beds had terrible mattresses and pillows. The neighbors kept slamming doors all night, so sleep was impossible. There was one shower and toilet for the whole floor. This was the worst hostel I've ever come across, a mix of apocalypse and poverty. Housing like this shouldn't be offered to anyone, let alone rented out. Saving money isn't worth it. I never want to go through that again, and I'd like to erase that flophouse from my memory.
