We had rooms 21 and 22 for two days. They were neat and well kept, with larger bathrooms, and overall things were okay. There’s no parking, so we left the car on the street. The main disappointment was the food. There weren’t many options for vegetarians or chicken lovers, and most of it seemed aimed at people who eat meat. There were cornflakes, bread, and jam, but the milk was cold, so even the coffee we tried to make wasn’t warm enough. If you’re visiting, I’d suggest eating elsewhere if you have time. The woman at the front desk didn’t smile at all. Maybe she was worried she couldn’t speak English, but a smile would have helped.

The room was badly laid out. The toilet was across the room from the bathroom, so washing my hands after using it meant walking all the way to the other side. The basin tap was enormous, larger than the basin itself, and water splashed everywhere. There was even leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest, the room wasn’t properly cleaned, and there was no waste bin. We were also stuck in a location with almost nothing nearby. There was no restaurant close by, and buying toothpaste meant walking 20 to 30 minutes or taking a bus. The kitchen shut at 9, so if you were late, there was nothing to eat. At the end of the stay, the receptionist refused to print my boarding passes. The service was awful. No one spoke English, and when they couldn’t explain themselves, they acted rudely, as though it were my fault for coming without knowing their language. Their attitude felt unprofessional and indifferent. I had to ask three times to get the shampoo refilled. There was no phone in the room, so I had to go to another building to speak to reception. The woman in the pub/dining room yelled at some German guests for asking to be served breakfast five minutes after breakfast time ended. The next day she yelled at us because I sat at a reserved table, even though there was no sign or mark to show it was reserved. She didn’t speak English and just shouted, “This is for people,” as if we were animals. Everyone should avoid this place. The people were very rude.

The whole hotel smelled of spoiled oil, and it felt like a building from the 1960s that had never been updated. During our five days there, the sheets weren’t changed once. We did get clean towels daily, but only because we had to use them to stop water from flooding the room. The bath and toilet were oddly separated. Staff didn’t speak English and communication was awful. When we asked for a boss, they said he was in America. Luckily my native language is similar to Czech. I was extremely dissatisfied with the stay.

The rooms were cramped and run-down, and breakfast was embarrassing. There was no parking and it was hard to get in touch with reception. At checkout, the price set in Euro had been converted into Kč at a strange rate, clearly higher than the rate used by other hotels.

This is a late review, since I stayed a while ago, but I remember the place being dirty and the staff unfriendly. They didn’t tell us in advance that breakfast had to be reserved the day before and was served for only a short time. I could have lived with that if they’d explained it properly. The location was pretty bad, meaning far away, though it was relatively quiet apart from the neighbours’ rooster crowing in the morning. The rooms didn’t have much to them. If I remember right, it felt more like a hostel. Definitely wouldn’t go again.
