Hotel Prague Inn

I strongly advise against booking here. I had a serious accident on my way to the hotel and ended up in hospital. I explained the emergency and apologized for the trouble, but management showed no empathy and refused to cooperate with my request. It felt clear that profit mattered more to them than human life or customer care. If you have an emergency, don't expect any humanity from this hotel.

There were multiple damages in our room that seemed like safety hazards for our two very young children. We'd booked the City View Apartment six months ahead, but the woman on reception, working the night of 22 Dec, told us to leave if we couldn't stay in that room. It was nearly 8 pm, and we explained that leaving wasn't a viable option with our kids, but she kept telling us to go and offered no sympathy or help. We were worried about the children's safety, so we booked another hotel. She wouldn't help with that either and passed us to Mario, who was very helpful in cancelling our reservation and getting a full refund. The woman refused to give her name, but we understand she's the manager. She was extremely rude, and the staff and service were terrible. Our dream trip became a nightmare, and we'd tell anyone wanting a pleasant stay in Prague to avoid this hotel. The room entry uses a PIN, and we found that the same PIN sequence is used for all rooms because we had booked two.

We had a comfortable stay, and the hotel is nicely located. The breakfast room is downstairs in the basement, which may be inconvenient for guests with limited mobility. I'm not sure whether breakfast could be brought to the room.

We stayed one night while passing through Prague. The hotel is very well located, with all the sights within walking distance. The room suited me, the bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I can only recommend it.
