Hotel ILF

The place was clean and well maintained, with great amenities. But a staff lady got very upset that I had used the restroom and left footprints behind me. She couldn't explain what the problem was, so I was left guessing at what she said, apparently in Russian. If visitors aren't allowed to use the restrooms, they should be locked.

We stayed two nights over the Christmas holidays and were given two large rooms. They're quite spacious. The hotel has parking for a daily charge, and good connections by bus and train. There are places to eat nearby, including KFC, Macd and some local restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was nice.

The rooms were a good size and clean. There are only two elevators, and both are extremely slow. There also weren't enough tables and chairs for meals, and we had a very rude waiter in the hotel bar.

The rooms were terribly old and had no equipment at all. What made the stay awful was the restaurant staff creating a huge scene because I sipped coffee from my own bottle with my own sugar instead of using the hotel's coffee cup. Over one cup of coffee! They acted as though I'd committed some terrible crime, and I felt incredibly uneasy. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don't stay here.
