Jump In Hostel

The hostel was clean, affordable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and met some great travelers. My room was set up for five but only had two people in it. The kitchen downstairs was tiny, though, and would have felt too small with more guests. I couldn’t find a fridge, which made things tricky.

There’s a personal feel to this place, and the location is close to both the city center and nightlife. The usual basics, including Wi-Fi, bathrooms, and beds, were good. They also have free coffee, tea, and cereal. I spent several nights in the large dorm and had a great time. The staff were excellent.

The noise was awful. The walls are so thin that you can hear the neighbors as if they were in your room, so there’s no way to have a private conversation without others hearing. Someone else had booked this place for me, and I stayed for a month. The manager wasn’t friendly, and nobody there was good at communicating information. I reported that the shower, sink, and toilet weren’t draining properly, but nothing was done. By the end, the toilet was leaking and they didn’t seem to care. I had to put up with all the noise.

I’ve never stayed at a better hostel. It’s clean, close to the city center, and the common room is a good place to hang out and meet people. I made lots of friends there. Free coffee, tea, cereal, and Wi-Fi are available.
