K+K Hotel Fenix

Breakfast was 10/10, and the staff were really helpful. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, and very clean. The hotel is a great base in Prague, close to the main tourist spots. We loved staying here and would definitely come back. I'd recommend adding breakfast to your stay.

We could walk everywhere from the hotel, and felt safe around the area. It's a great base near the centre. There is a strip club next door, as others have mentioned, but we didn't hear it, or much noise from inside the hotel either. With a late flight home, leaving our luggage at the hotel after checkout was brilliant, so we didn't have to find lockers or drag our bags around all day. The room, on the first floor, was warm, cosy, and very clean. We could adjust the heating, and had plenty of storage, drawers, hangers, and sockets. There were toiletries, a hairdryer, safe, TV, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and two bottles of water that were replaced after we used them. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. We arrived three hours before check-in, but the room was ready and the receptionist let us in straight away. That meant we could freshen up and head out exploring. She welcomed us and explained the practical details, including breakfast, access, bar times, checkout, and tourist tax. Breakfast had lots of good choices, and the staff kept checking and replenishing things. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The lobby looked clean and inviting, and smelled lovely when we came in. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, and would highly recommend the hotel and beautiful Prague.

The room was comfortable, cosy, and well kept, and I felt welcomed from the start. Check-in was smooth and the lobby was clean and inviting. I stayed in a balcony room with a street view, though I didn't get a chance to use the balcony. The location was handy for shops and the Christmas markets, making it easy to explore Prague. A few service problems brought the stay down to four stars for me. I went to the bar several times and was told it was closed, even though signs in the hallways and elevators said it stayed open until 11:30 PM. Front desk staff later confirmed the signs were wrong, which is misleading and should be fixed. I also had trouble requesting a virgin mojito as my welcome drink. Complimentary beer, wine, and soft drinks were on offer, but Daniel made a real issue of my request for what is just seltzer water, sugar, and mint. After that I didn't feel comfortable ordering at the bar. I asked to speak to the general manager on site, but kept getting the runaround. The comfort, cleanliness, and location could have made this a five-star stay, but the bar issues and lack of a clear response from management affected my experience.

The location couldn't have been better, and the breakfast was delicious and affordable. We got there before check-in and were lucky to go straight to our room, which was clean and really nice. Coffee and drinks, including juice and mulled wine, were available in the lobby, and there were drinks in the room too. Every hotel worker we dealt with was lovely and helpful. From the moment we arrived, the stay felt magical. Absolutely recommend this hotel.
