Hotel Marie Luisa

Stayed for work and had a great welcome. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and breakfast was great too. I’m planning to bring my wife back for a romantic weekend 😜. Highly recommend.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the hotel looks good from outside. It’s in a quiet area, but quite far from the city center: about 40 minutes by bus and tram, or around 20 minutes by car. The TV, maybe 17 inches, was mounted far from the bed and felt pretty useless, though I didn’t have time to watch anything. The staff weren’t very friendly. The swimming pool seemed to be there for decoration, and the spa was expensive. For a little more money, you can get better spa service outside. You even have to pay extra to sit in the hotel garden and eat your own breakfast. When my friend had a birthday, they wanted an additional fee just for us to cut a cake at a garden table. For the price, the service could have been better.

Food was bland and not good, and the rooms were noisy. At 7am people were slamming doors. We waited a long time for the receptionist to come to the desk. When she finally arrived, she sat down with an attitude and rolled her eyes several times. She was rude and impatient. Definitely won’t return.

The rooms were huge and, most importantly, clean. We were greeted by lovely staff, and breakfast was okay. It would be nice to have more variety, though everything they did offer tasted good. The hotel is a bit outside the city center, but public transport is well connected, so the major attractions take about 30-45 minutes to reach. A very nice hotel.
