Breakfast was the one letdown for me, just very basic. Still, I’d definitely stay here again. The location is really handy, close to everything, and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room looked lovely, with wooden floors and doors, a high, beautiful ceiling, and it was very clean. It was really hot during my stay, but there was a big fan and nice double windows that opened. The sink was blocked, but reception fixed it immediately after I told them.

The location was excellent and this was the best value I could find for our long weekend in Prague. It’s a three-star hotel without extra frills, which was what we expected. The lobby was handy for buying inexpensive cold drinks, and I’d stay here again. One concern did occur to me, though. The hotel has a lot of wood, we were on the fifth floor, and there’s only one main staircase plus an old-style lift. I found myself wondering what you’d do if there were a fire.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. There are several locked doorways before you reach your room, which made it feel safe. We had the triple room in the attic, with a queen and a single bed in one room and an attached bathroom. It was small, with a tiny window, but the view was pretty. Breakfast was €6 per person per day and worth the price, with a big selection of tasty food. The attached restaurant, the Avocado Garden, was delicious, and the service workers were kind.

The location is the real plus here. It’s close to the tourist spots and easy to get around from. The room could have been kept up better, and the hotel felt a little overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast requires a voucher, which an older woman asks you for, and she only speaks Czech. The neighboring restaurant is an odd mix of Mexican and Czech food, but it’s fairly good and has interesting decor. Staff were friendly.
