We spent two weeks travelling around Europe and this was our favourite hotel. The room was massive, with a comfortable king bed, and the bathroom felt luxurious, with a towel warmer and bidet. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. It’s a 15-minute walk to the old town, with plenty of cafes nearby. The place was generally quiet, though sound carries through the vents. Fortunately, no one was partying too late.

The location and AC were great, and the bed pillows seemed alright. But our room was literally like a closet, with too little floor space to open a suitcase. It was the smallest hotel room we’ve ever had, the opposite of the massive rooms people described in reviews. We felt a bit duped by the photos and reviews, and there weren’t any TV channels. I wasn’t keen on the guy at check-in, though he wasn’t rude. In the second building, carts and bags of laundry were blocking the walking doorway and were hard to get around. If I could get my money back, we’d be at another hotel right now. We’ll ask to change rooms tomorrow and see how it goes.

I had a peaceful, quiet stay and got good rest. My room was clean and the bed was okay, with different pillows available. It didn’t have a fridge, but there was a safe, kettle, tea bags, slippers and hair dryer. The place is close to the Museum and muzeum metro station, and Václavské náměstí is nearby. So it’s very near the city centre, but away from the tourist noise. The staff were very polite. Igor checked me in and was a really nice guy. Reception has a Nespresso machine for free coffee, though there’s no milk, only milk powder. It’s open from 8-20, and there’s a garden where you can sit.

For the first two nights, the hotel was clean and comfortable, just what we needed to rest after busy days exploring the city. That changed on the third day, when guests moved into a room near ours, room 205. They weren’t especially loud, but the room layout and vents carried every word, along with singing, phone videos, humming and throat clearing. Hearing all that, especially at 2 in the morning when they came back from a night out, isn’t what I expect when paying for a hotel. The location also wasn’t very interesting to us, so I don’t plan to return or recommend it to friends or family.
