Narodni Stay

We had a spacious, large room with comfortable beds, and it was very quiet. The bathroom worked well for us too. Everything was within walking distance, which made this a perfect place to stay while visiting Prague.

Paying nearly €360 for two nights, I expected hotel-level service. There wasn’t even a fridge, kettle, or slippers, and that left the stay below what I’d expect from a hotel. When I raised this with the receptionist on 4 April at 08:47, the response was dismissive. I was told, essentially, “do whatever you want” about leaving a review, instead of hearing an acknowledgment or apology. That attitude doesn’t belong in hospitality. Guests are paying for a service, and a respectful effort to address feedback should be the minimum. It came across as though serving guests was a favor rather than a professional responsibility. I’m leaving this feedback so management can look at both the service level and the conduct of the staff member on duty at that time.

The receptionist was kind, respectful, and really helpful. The rooms were good and clean, though some don’t have windows, which seems normal for the price. The hotel is right in Prague’s center, so everything is close by.

The room was clean and had the essentials, and I thought it was good value. At night, though, it got noisy: people were coming and going, talking loudly, and slamming doors. Our room was on the second floor in a stairwell, which felt out of place and didn’t really feel like part of the hotel. I was okay with it, having stayed in worse places, but my partner found it sketchy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was easy to find using the instructions they sent after booking. Aside from the noise and odd room setup, it’s a decent value for a few nights.
