Madame Irena’s thoughtful reminder kept us from boarding the wrong train, saving us time and stress. She was attentive and responsible throughout our visit, always ready to help with a warm smile. Her care made us feel welcome, and we’re grateful for the support. Her kindness and professionalism really stayed with us.

The location was a real plus, in a good area near the centre with easy tram rides to Vinohrady, the Old Town, and the main railway station with very little walking. I also have nothing but praise for the receptionist, who was kind and highly professional. That helped, but a polite welcome can’t make up for the condition of the rooms. They didn’t look like the charming hotel shown in the Booking pictures. The amenities were old, there was no air conditioning, just a cheap fan, and a terrible smell came from the bathroom. Its tiles were broken, and the room badly needed renovation. Without the receptionist’s kindness I’d have rated the stay even lower, but the facilities were still poor.

The service was what stood out, from early CI to printing documents and arranging a takeaway breakfast for our early departure. We were there during a busy week in Prague. This wouldn’t have been our first choice, so we were glad to find it. It covered what we needed for a city or business trip, and the basic rooms were comfortable.

The breakfast spread wasn’t huge, but the food was good, and all the staff were really nice. We had a great stay at Novoměstský hotel. Our room looked onto a pleasant inner courtyard, and both the room and bathroom were a good size for us. The street was quiet, though there are several tram stops nearby for sightseeing. Restaurants, bars, and a supermarket are also close. The hotel is very central. There’s no AC, only a fan. With temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, it did a pretty good job, about as much as you can expect.
