The room was clean, and it had a hair dryer under the sink and an iron in the wardrobe. The bed was quite hard, so it may not suit anyone used to a softer mattress. I paid £42 a night at the end of January, which felt like a bargain. I’d stay again, depending on the price, though I don't know what it costs in high season. My main reason for booking was the location in the Old Town, a five- or six-minute walk from the metro for getting to and from the airport. Customer service was fine, polite and helpful if you asked, though people in Prague don't seem to be big smilers. I didn't use the restaurant or bar, so can't comment on the food or staff there, but the other customers seemed happy. It was noisy until 11 pm because the room was above a bar. I expected that, and you're probably not in Prague for an early night, but I wouldn't try to put a baby to sleep there.

We had a great Old Town view from our seventh-floor room. You can see the tower and hear the clocks of Prazsky orloj, just a three-minute walk away, and Charles Bridge is nine minutes on foot. There's a busy bar and restaurant downstairs, and being so central means tourists are around all the time. Our family room had two bedrooms and enough space for four, though a few more pieces of furniture, such as chairs or a couch, would help. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had a decent selection but cost 24 euro per person, so the many nearby street cafes are an easy alternative. It's a nice hotel in an old historic building, and I'd recommend it and try to stay again next time in Prague.

We had a great stay, and the room was a good size with excellent air conditioning and a fridge. The staff were fantastic, and the food and drinks at the Fat Cat were good value. It's less than a minute's walk from the astronomical clock in old town Square and five minutes from Charles Bridge. I'd happily come back to Prague and stay here again.

The apartment was huge, with plenty of space for more people than the three of us, my wife, daughter and me. I have both knees replaced, but the stairs were still no problem. We didn't have any trouble with noise from the apartment.
