Pension Domino

From the outside it looks nice, but inside the “reception” was a mess of old, dirty sofas, cobwebs, and dirt everywhere. The guesthouse felt like somewhere from a horror movie. I wouldn’t stay here even for free.

The first time, I tried to book about three weeks ahead. At reception they said they didn’t know whether there was a place for me, probably not, and that they’d call back. Nobody did. The second time I booked about six weeks in advance. Fourteen days before the date, the owner called to say there was no place and I should find somewhere else. When I asked how I was supposed to do that when everything was taken for that date, he told me at the last minute, “You'll definitely get something, you're welcome.” Seriously? If that’s how they usually treat people, I’m surprised they’re still in business. Even if I had to sleep in my car, I’ll never call here again.

There are signs inviting you to come over for food and wine, but nothing clearly says you need an appointment. When you show up, the staff just stare and act unpleasant. They felt like a closed community. Thanks, see you later.

Jana Raichlová created an amazing atmosphere and was an incredibly pleasant, kind hostess. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The boss is a great chef. Thank you so much, we definitely haven’t been here for the last time!
