Rehorova Apartments

The flat was comfortable, nicely quiet and close to Praha Hlavní Nádraží. There’s a big Lidl and a drugstore nearby, and check-in and checkout were contactless. It had a fridge, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. The downsides were no air conditioning and windows that were quite problematic.

There’s plenty of space in these apartments, and shops and restaurants are just a few minutes away. It’s a convenient base for getting around, though it can get noisy when young people are staying in the house too. One thing to know: rats are often visible outside. The previous tenants had thrown rubbish over the fence, which seems to be why. (Video posted)

The decor is nice, but the place smells strongly of cigarettes. It’s one apartment divided into six rooms, with a shared kitchen, and my room was tiny, about 7 by 1.5 metres. The bed was barely wider than my shoulders. It might be fine for a couple of nights if you’re not claustrophobic, but at this price I expected more than a fancy cupboard. If you get the room I had, I hope you’re not a large person.

The whole apartment was peaceful, spotless and spacious, with comfortable furniture and good central heating. We booked for two adults and two children and really enjoyed our stay. The support team on the booking.com app answered our questions very quickly. The location worked well for us, within walking distance of supermarkets, the town centre and public transport. The downstairs storage cupboards were especially handy for bags if you arrive early or have a late flight after checkout. Highly recommend.
