A great spot, and the apartment was clean and had what I needed, including a washing machine.

The location was the standout. The apartment itself was clean, nice, and functional, but arriving at the stated check-in time matters because there’s no reception. The owner speaks Czech or maybe German, so English won’t help; you’ll need one of those languages or hand signals. My husband also kept hitting his head on the doorframes because he’s taller than 1.80 m. Getting to the top floor means climbing steps about a meter high, with no elevator, so don’t count on having normal legs. And double-check the address: another, much more interesting apartment complex has the same name on the same street. I was drawn in by lovely TripAdvisor reviews that were for that other place, since these apartments aren’t on TripAdvisor. I ended up somewhere I hadn’t meant to book. The stay was passable, but it wasn’t the place I wanted, and I won’t be back.

The owner was excellent to communicate with, and I couldn’t fault the place. It’s on the first floor, very close to Charles Bridge, with a drinks store nearby. Inside, it was warm, clean, nicely equipped, and very pleasant. I recommend it.

Right in the old town, this lovely apartment is just three minutes from Charles Bridge.
