I booked a Prague apartment for one night with a friend. I made the reservation at 12:25, then got a Booking.com message at 12:35 saying it hadn’t gone through. I didn’t see it until 13:20. I immediately tried the “Re-Book Accommodation” button, but it only brought up a blank white page. To make sure we had a room, I booked manually at about 13:30. Soon after, I received two confirmations for the same apartment. The receptionist told me by phone he’d help sort it out, but nothing was done. I was charged for both bookings, and neither was cancelled. Booking.com’s replies felt evasive and more concerned with keeping the money than fixing the issue. I ended up paying twice for one stay. There was no sense of customer care or accountability. Be careful when booking, since mistakes don’t seem to be handled fairly and you could lose your money.

The kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery, pans, and other basics for our group of six. There was also loads of room for everyone in this large apartment, with a lovely view of the river. As described on Airbnb, there were two main bedrooms. Our main room had about four beds, while the other had a sofa bed and around three single beds. All were comfortable. There were two bathrooms, one with only a toilet and the other with a bath-shower. The water went off for a day, but it was fixed quickly, and our host answered our question promptly.

The beds were comfortable, and each person had a towel. The apartment was okay, though the kitchen was basic and the sitting room was part of one of the bedrooms. The hardest thing was having just one toilet for 12 people.

The rooms are a decent size for stag or hen groups, and there’s a lift to every floor. It overlooks the river, with a mini market and bars nearby. The main square is about a 15-minute walk, and the airport takes roughly 30-40 minutes to reach.
