Hotel Salvator

Angelo at breakfast was attentive, professional, and great to chat with. Vojta at reception was just as welcoming and helpful, walking me through Prague's best sights and sharing his own travel tips. The staff made me feel at home. The rooms are cozy and well maintained, the location is superb, and the service is outstanding. I couldn't recommend it more, and I'll be back to Hotel Salvator on my next visit.

At around 7 in the morning, a drunk stranger came to our door and started kicking it hard. We were terrified and shouted for help through the window. It took about five minutes for a staff member to arrive and take him away. We had a reservation and had been staying for two nights, but the incident left us feeling completely unsafe as tourists. We couldn't face another night and left, though the hotel didn't refund our money. The experience ruined our stay. A hotel should provide basic security, and this showed a serious safety problem. This place isn't safe.

The suite we got was spacious enough for a family of four or more, with large rooms and high ceilings. The hotel is centrally located. Breakfast is optional and served in the adjoining restaurant, with a great spread of hot and cold dishes, cake, yogurt, and fruit, plus a children's corner. You won't need a car in Prague, though they do let you rent a space in a nearby garage. Best to arrive by tram or taxi.

At 10 pm on our last day, a man from reception came to our room because the next room had no hot water. He knocked twice and then opened the door to check the fuse box while my family and I were sleeping and not properly dressed. He should have waited instead of coming in. It scared us. Please be careful.
