St. Terezie - Baroque Residence

The building looks like a castle, with a pretty exterior, nice decorations, and a courtyard area with chairs. There's even a natural food shop inside, though I didn't go in. The room was really comfortable and just the right size for one person. I was confused about opening the sofa bed because I hadn't read the instructions properly. It came with a toaster, waffle maker, hot plate, hair dryer, curling iron, vacuum, iron, and more. Since shops nearby close in the evening, there's a small in-room cupboard shop where you can pay for snacks, a thoughtful touch. They told me there were three towels plus two extras. There's an elevator, and in the next building there's a separate laundry room with a washer and dryer. They showed me where it was and how to use them when I asked, and also showed me the small gym room with exercise equipment. The location is the one drawback: it's about a 15-minute walk at a slow pace, or 10 minutes faster, from the tram stop, though the trams all go to tourist spots. In the evenings the out-of-the-way area gets quiet and feels scary. Sometimes Uber drivers follow Google navigation and drop you at the back of the building, probably an app issue, so pin the front entrance. The entrance elevator shifts a little with a slight draft whenever it moves, so I kept the key in and locked up, where it couldn't be put in from outside.

It was very nice, but our room was really small. Since we only used it to sleep, it worked fine for everything we needed. Very clean, though there were no blinds. 😭
