Hotel Superior Prague

The hotel was clean throughout, and our room was kept tidy. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Each day there was a good choice of fresh produce at breakfast. The centre is about a 10-minute walk, and shops, restaurants and local hotspots were all within walking distance. We couldn't find any faults and would highly recommend it. The location was fantastic, and the airport was roughly a 25-minute taxi ride away.

The warm room was a welcome bonus when it was -13 on some days and nights, though one radiator wouldn't switch off, so I had to open the window. With the hotel beside a main road, the traffic noise then became too much. That's the trade-off between location and comfort here. It takes around 15 minutes to reach the old town, which is the main selling point. Breakfast was okay, but the rooms are dated and the oversized pillows were very uncomfortable, with no other options. The shower head had no holder, so I had to hold it to rinse off, which made washing my hair awkward.

A good affordable option for a short visit to Prague. The rooms are a little small, but clean and comfortable enough for the price. Breakfast had a nice range of choices. There are convenience stores just around the corner, and the tram stop is roughly a 10-minute walk away, so getting around is easy.

It's in a handy spot, about 15 minutes on foot from most attractions, but right by a busy road, so bring earplugs. The room felt more like a slightly nicer hostel, and the single bed took up space. With the room this size, I wouldn't want three people in it. The shower was awkward: it was mounted very high, the holder didn't tilt, and I had to hold it for washing and my hair. The tap was easy to knock, which could shut the water off mid-shower. There were only two sockets, one on each side of the main bed, plus one main light and just one bedside light on the right. No kettle was in the room. I only found out on day two that you could hire one, and nobody mentioned it at check-in. Breakfast wasn't remarkable, and the room was small enough that people were waiting for tables.
