The Emerald

The management company always got back to me quickly and courteously, even when I asked something that was already clearly covered in the instructions they’d left on the table. I stayed in the delightful “Ancestral” apartment. The decor seemed to reflect Czechia’s historical culture, though I know almost nothing about that, so don’t take my word for it. It was very comfortable. The location was marvelous, with a metro and tram station within easy reach. The river and Old Town attractions, including the astronomical clock and Charles Bridge, were a short walk away. Lesser Town was just a stroll over another nearby bridge.

The room had everything we needed, from dishes and handy travel essentials to a full-size refrigerator. The signature bathrobes were soft and comfortable, a lovely touch. Staff were easy to reach and quick to help. We could choose contactless check-in or reception, which was convenient. We were celebrating a special occasion, and they carefully followed all our room decoration requests. I’d asked for a particular room and they kindly arranged it, so we stayed in the Citadel room. It had a unique atmosphere and looked just like the photos. You could feel the spirit of the past as soon as you entered the building, beautifully preserved. There was an unexpected situation in the building during our stay, but it was handled so quickly and smoothly that it didn’t inconvenience us. Thank you for the organization and attention to detail. We’ll definitely come back!

We stayed in Soya, a unique two-level place that gave us plenty of room to spread out. The location was amazing, and public transportation was easy to use. We went to Ebel coffee shop around the corner every morning and made friends there. Tatiana was super friendly and helpful, including when we needed to do laundry on the convenient third floor. They also gave us great suggestions for a boat ride and restaurants. The restaurant downstairs could be noisy, and we could smell the food, but earplugs took care of it at night. We ate there too and really enjoyed it.

We stayed in the Arcadia room, with its charming vintage decor and romantic feel. It was clean, well equipped, and full of thoughtful details. We didn’t find ourselves short of anything. The rain shower and heated bathroom floors felt especially lovely during our winter visit. The hotel is in a great spot, within walking distance of every Prague attraction on our list.
