The most central apartment in Prague

The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean, have the essentials, and are in good condition. It also feels like good value for money. The problem was the cafeteria and breakfast staff. A blonde woman came out of the kitchen and literally yelled at me rudely and over the top because I used the wrong tongs for the fried eggs. A few minutes later another staff member spoke to me rudely for putting rye bread in the toaster meant for regular white toast. There was a sign I hadn't noticed, but that's no way to speak to a customer who's made a mistake. It's a great place to stay if you don't need to interact with the staff. They seemed more annoyed by guests than interested in helping.

What really made Central Park Hotel stand out was the staff. Alexandra at reception was warm and attentive, and even walked me to the nearest post office herself. The cleaning staff deserve a shout-out too. The area felt safe even late at night, and everything was within walking distance. My room was spotless, with clear signs that housekeeping takes real care. Breakfast was really good as well, a lovely way to start the day. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, central, welcoming stay in Prague.

I spent four nights here. The front desk was quick to help when I mentioned tiny bugs, and moved me to another room after waiting for me to confirm the change. Breakfast was decent, with lots of options. The Superior room looked very different from the photos. My room got too hot and only had a small fan. The outlets were badly placed, and housekeeping didn't seem to do much beyond making the beds and changing the towels, even though I asked for cleaning. The property definitely needs an upgrade.

The reception lady was welcoming, and breakfast was ok. Our room was plain but clean, and the temperature was fine when we visited in April. In summer, remember there's no air conditioning. The main issue was the lack of sockets. We only found one in the bathroom, which isn't ideal for two people or more.
