We were told our room would be ready an hour later than planned, which was no problem for us. Still, the man at the desk gave us a bottle of Prosecco. That kind gesture really showed how seriously they take their work and how kind and professional the staff are.

The suites and apartments are superior, with a nice little kitchenette. They’re quite spare, and I’d say they suit one or two people better than three.

There’s no parking, so you have to pull up on the street and keep the engine running. The office felt like a cheap breakfast spot and smelled strongly of bleach. The people there were speaking an Asian language and didn’t seem to have time for me.

The apartment has been restored beautifully and the location is very central, with attractive rooms cleverly rearranged to fit more people. It was clean, but the upkeep missed a lot: dust caked on the ceiling fans, stains on the couch, and a modern, stylish bathroom that smelled strongly of mildew. The pillows felt like hard sofa cushions. Fine for one night, but I can’t recommend it for a longer stay.

We had a full kitchen, very clean rooms and toilet, and really comfortable beds. The apartment is about a four-minute walk from the main train station and only a few minutes from the city centre. Great location, and yes, I’d recommend it if you’re going to Prague.
