The staff were lovely and always smiling, and there’s a garden as well as comfortable seating indoors. U Šemíka is fully gluten-free, with meals from breakfast through dinner, plus pastries, sweets, beer and wine, including non-alcoholic wine. I found it by chance on the Nesnězeno app, where you can order a fresh bag of gluten-free pastries for pickup between 8:00 and 21:00. I’d recommend it to anyone, not just people who eat gluten-free.

For 219 CZK, I got Bolognese pasta that was completely cold and tasted like cafeteria food. It didn’t even have a basil leaf on top.
