V Lesicku Residence

We were six and had plenty of room in this old-style apartment in malastrana. The high ceilings and big double doors give it character, and the kitchen has what you need for a short stay: a medium fridge, microwave, coffee filter machine, stove and ceramic cooker rings. There’s hardly any counter space, though, and the setup is a bit makeshift. The small lift fits three people and was useful for luggage. The location by the river worked really well. A tram stop is a two-minute walk away, and a large shopping center with two supermarkets is two stops from there, or about a seven-minute walk. Many of the main sights are also within reasonable walking distance. There’s a quiet little cafe/pub downstairs, away from the crowds of tourists. The neighborhood is quiet, so this may not suit you if you plan to make noise. It’s a non-smoking apartment. Staff from a nearby hotel manage the apartment, and you have to check in there, a few minutes away, to pick up the keys. It wasn’t a huge hassle, though a more convenient arrangement would have been better. They arranged airport transport for us when we asked. The new, large vans were reasonably priced, and the drivers were helpful and on time. There’s also a 24/7 support number, which is unusual for a flat. Prague has become much more expensive since I was there about 7 years ago, but this place itself was very reasonably priced. All in all, I highly recommend it. Enjoy your visit to Prague.
