There’s a roomy garden out back where kids can play, and it works well for larger groups if you book ahead. This is a small, pleasant restaurant with excellent food at a good price. Timing matters: arrive around 7 p.m. or later for smoother service, since hotel guests are served first earlier in the evening and you may wait longer.

The restaurant had a good range of food, and the staff were really helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and warm, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. The owners were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. I’d recommend the place.

That garden is fantastic for kids, and we felt so warmly welcomed. The goulash was incredible, some of the best Czech food in Rokytnice nad Jizerou.

A huge garden with lots for children to do, and such a homey feel inside. Easily the best restaurant in Rokytnice.
