Penzion Cristal

The receptionist was really kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. I can't think of a downside to staying here. There's a shared kitchen with a microwave, kettle, stove and oven, plus some dishes if you want to cook. They can arrange whatever you need, so it's an easy five stars from me 👍🍀

We didn't even put our bags down before leaving. There was nobody at reception, which was meant to be staffed from 5 pm. A phone number was posted, but it took a long time for the receptionist to show up. The beds were awful, and the toilet was dirty and hadn't been flushed. The smell was like vomit. I didn't need to bother with hygiene, what was there was enough for me. Thanks so much for the welcome.

The location is handy, near the ring road and Brno, but I lasted just one night and couldn't have stayed longer. It felt more like a hostel, with a dirty room, a bathroom that hadn't been cleaned in ages, and cigarette smoke in the hallway. The receptionist seemed quite drunk and couldn't take payment, so we waited about an hour for another lady to come. The place is next to Kacko club, which played until 4 am. Sleep was impossible, especially since the room window wouldn't close. I'd avoid this place at all costs.

We were shown to our room by the receptionist, and it looked okay at first. Then we lifted the sheet and found what looked like a corpse that had been there for at least a week. The FBI would've had enough biological material for a whole new series of Detective Rosica....
