The rooms and bathroom were spacious, and the kids had plenty of room to play indoors when the weather was bad. We picked this basic bed and breakfast because it was halfway home and extremely cheap, and it turned out to be well worth it. The owner is a very nice older gentleman. There’s a restaurant, shops, a gas station, and an “other establishment” ;) nearby, so it’s a handy overnight stop on a longer drive.

I expected an ordinary roadside pension, but it was much better than that. The rooms were clean and the owner was friendly. There’s a restaurant with good food and a Chinese junk store nearby, plus an amazing abandoned Kriegerdenkmal close by.

Good value, with the basic amenities you’d expect. Free parking, and King’s Casino is a short drive away. The thin walls and creaky floorboards were a problem for me, though. You can hear other guests going about their usual business, and it was loud enough to interrupt my sleep. I’d bring noise-cancelling headphones and use white noise.

Check-in was efficient, and the place was clean and remarkably comfortable. We’ve come to expect and appreciate how clean things are in Czechia. Definitely recommend it.
