Apartment Černý Důl Cerny Dul

I’d warn others about the poor service and the booking problems we experienced. My friends and I planned a winter holiday for February 2025 and wanted to stay close to each other. So, eight months ahead, on 29 June 2024, I booked this flat through booking.com. I got a confirmation by email and in the app, and attached a screenshot of it. Then, on 26 December 2024, I unexpectedly received a message saying the booking had been cancelled!!! :( I’ve attached a screenshot of that too. Booking.com suggested another available flat, but its standard was unacceptably low, it had only one room, and it was on the other side of the village, far from where our friends had booked. Our family has four people, including a boy and a girl. I contacted the owner. She said she couldn’t control the bookings because there were two reservations for the same dates. Even though mine was made first, she chose to cancel it :( and keep the later one. Anyone can guess why. She said booking.com was to blame and promised to help sort it out, but neither she nor booking.com ever came back with a solution. I also called booking.com, and they told me it was the owner’s fault and that she had made the decision to cancel. 🤣 In the end, I had to find a new apartment myself. Fortunately, there was just one suitable place available for our planned dates. It cost about 15% more and was farther from our friends’ apartment. Booking offered €25 in compensation, which covered only a small part of the extra cost. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this flat.

We stayed for a week from the end of July to early August 2020, and loved the flat. The sunny balcony overlooking the valley and forest really completed the place. Inside, the layout worked great for our family of three, with a spacious bathroom and level-entry XXL shower, a big bedroom with a built-in closet, and a living room with an exclusive open kitchenette. It was the perfect size for us, and we’ll definitely come back.

Great communication and a beautiful apartment in a peaceful, lovely setting. Highly recommended.

We spent a wonderful spring break this year at the “Sunny Apartment.” The owner communicated perfectly and was very helpful, and the manager took attentive care of us. The accommodation was comfortable, and we had a great time enjoying the sunshine and excellent skiing conditions. Our holiday really had everything we needed.
