Jitrenka is a very old cottage, probably without renovations for a long time. The rooms are ordinary and a little smelly. Still, accommodation in Janske Lazne is quite expensive, and at Jitrenka you can stay cheaply, for 300 kc a night.
I’ve been there twice, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but in ours, we were woken by water constantly dripping from the roof while we slept. We had to dig out the driveway ourselves, and parking space was minimal. Saving money doesn’t always pay off.
Good value for the money, and the whole cottage was always nice and warm. The kitchen has basic equipment. The host was great and always checked whether everything was okay. It worked well for me.
The place was dirty and very cramped. The triple room is just 12 square meters, and a lot of the accommodation feels improvised. Any youth hostel is better.
