After 25 years of coming here, the service has fallen right to the bottom of one of the old local mines. The food was never much good, though the beer used to be. Now the indifferent service makes the visit a waste of time. I'd go to a local ski bistro instead.

If you're in this small town, it's worth stopping in for a fresh beer and a Czech specialty. I had the chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes. The schnitzel was crunchy, really good, and a decent portion, and the potatoes were nicely seasoned and full of flavor.

We paid Prague-level prices for a miserable meal and unfriendly service. They wouldn't sell us the dish we wanted, saying it was sold out, though other people got it. What we did get was low quality, far too salty, and tasted awful. They also refused to sell or give us a glass of tap water. The staff couldn't manage a smile or a thank you. A little courtesy costs nothing and would have helped.
