The setting around the guesthouse is beautiful, with its own parking and plenty of room for kids to spend time. There's a pergola, grill and fireplace, and the owners were pleasant. Check-in happens at a table in the shared dining room. The room itself was very large, but the mattress, duvet and pillows were awful. I don't think my wife slept at all. The fridge was about the size of a microwave, and the shower was clogged. If someone had used it before we arrived, they probably would have noticed it wasn't draining. The room gave me the impression that someone had just made the bed and tried to make it look fancy. The local fee also raised the price. There's only one restaurant within walking distance, along the road the whole way, and it was full for dinner on both days. So you'd have to drive about 20 minutes to go somewhere else, which makes having a beer in the evening pretty much impossible. The overall impression was good, but I wouldn't come back.
