The location worked well for me on a business trip to CR, and the staff were kind and helpful. Service overall was good. I only used the accommodation and restaurant. My room was a fair size for one or two people, and the equipment was old but adequate. Still, it could have been cleaner: there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, and I couldn't guess where on someone's body they came from. The mattress could do with replacing. I managed for one night, though. The walls also seemed thin, since I could hear noise from nearby rooms, including coughing and sneezing. There was a strange kitchen smell throughout the hotel. The exhaust system could probably be changed or extended. The food quality and selection were average, maybe because there weren't many guests during my stay. About the beer, I'd suggest trying the 13. The 11 tasted very flat to me, without much richness, and the 12 wasn't available.

We were happy with the svíčková and guláš, the typical Czech dishes we tried. The menu was a bit limited when we visited the restaurant after 2:30 PM. :)

Breakfast was below average, and there's no 24 hour desk. It's a good spot in town, though.

They were quick and pleasant, and even brought water for our dog.
