Sietske cooks lovely meals, and her husband Edo takes good care of you at the hotel. The rides with Sietske through the hills are beautiful, and she’s a great trainer and guide. It works well for little kids and adults alike. One of my best stays ever, with horse riding and camping or a hotel all in one.

There’s a small shop within walking distance, and several restaurants about 5 km away. Guests can also use a well-equipped kitchen, while the Dutch owners cook excellent meals for everyone a few days a week. This small hotel and campsite has riding stables, so it’s great for horse lovers, and also a handy starting point for hiking, mountain biking, or cycling. A little paradise in the Czech hills.

The welcome was really friendly, and the pitches in the garden of the old watermill are lovely. We stayed here with our camper in June 2023 and paid €21.11 per night inclusive. The Dutch owners are Sietske, Edo, and Marja. The sanitary facilities and chemical toilet disposal area were both fine. There’s also a breakfast service, together with the B&B guests. The nearest proper supermarket is in Polička, 6 km away.

We’ve been coming back for years, and there’s always a lovely atmosphere among the friendly hotel and campsite guests. The owners are super friendly, the mini-campsite has fantastic large pitches, and the old watermill has large hotel rooms. There are plenty of horses for rides in the beautiful surroundings or in the large indoor arena. We’ve enjoyed delicious meals here too. Highly recommended!

The riding school behind the grounds is a beautiful part of the property, and everything here runs at a relaxed pace. Sharing meals several times a week is a great way to get to know the other guests. The couple runs the hotel and campsite in a friendly, spontaneous, honest way, with all the facilities in excellent order and a really pleasant holiday atmosphere. Dutch people visit too, which I don’t mind at all. We plan to come back often and hope to holiday this way again!
