The rooms have been modernized recently and are small but cozy, with nice bathrooms. The hotel is beautifully situated, the spa is pleasant, and the restaurant serves good food with friendly service. But Silver Rock bar, which belongs to the hotel, plays loud music every day until at least 1 a.m. The bass made it hard to fall asleep, and telling reception brought no response. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to rest. Hotel guests get a two-hour spa voucher, then have to pay for access. The outdoor jacuzzi costs extra too, around 20 euros for 30 minutes. I’ve never seen charges like that at a four-star hotel; it’s ridiculous. It’s a nice three-star hotel, really. I’d like to give Hotel Praha four stars, but the bar and all the extra fees spoil the impression.

We were a group of 14 and had a great dinner. The food and desserts were excellent, service was great, and the wait between ordering and getting our meals was reasonable. If you’re coming with a group that size, make a reservation so they can set up the tables. We’ll return next time we’re in the area.

We were on a half-board plan, and the food was the best part by far. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and dinner was wonderful every night, with different menus, amazing soups, great main dishes, and very good desserts. The service was friendly, our rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely bed, and the wellness center was very nice. We also had one of the best massages I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

The terrace has a nice view over town, and the slow-braised beef came with a red wine jus so good I could have drunk it through a straw. The wine list is disproportionately expensive, though. For good value, stick to the food and beer.
