Breakfast was okay, but dinner was another story. The meat tasted like pig feces, and Germanic religious icons covered the dining room. The one woman on staff seemed nervous and overwhelmed, expected to welcome guests, clean, do laundry, and prepare meals. The evidently wealthy owner came by once a day to check on things, but did nothing. The place felt like it was run with the goal of spending as little as possible. The towels were miniscule, most of the light bulbs were missing, probably to save money, and the switches were on timers and placed so awkwardly that you could be left trying to reach one in the dark. Then the power went out and the whole place was dark. Someone had clearly spent a lot building and furnishing what might once have been a nice pension, but it isn’t now. We’ll never go back.

The staff were somewhat flexible when we made requests, and for one night the place was okay. Still, the food, atmosphere, and hospitality all felt below current standards. The whole experience seemed dated and old fashioned, and I wouldn’t risk spending a week of holiday there.

Airbnb confirmed my reservation and took a card preauthorization, but then I was turned away because the place was full. What a mess, folks, lol, offer service to Mongolians.

There are plenty of nice hiking trails in the park, which is great. It’s an awesome little hotel with a farm attached, the food was great, and the hosts were very friendly.

The view from the restaurant is beautiful, the food was very good, and the weather was incredible. It’s a cozy place with friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
