A very enjoyable, welcoming bar and restaurant, with friendly staff. It’s clean and warm in winter, and the daily menus keep changing.

All good!

The food tasted good, and the menu was about what you’d expect from a village pub. The fries were thin, crisp, and good, though they seemed to have no salt at all, so I added some myself. Food prices struck me as a little high despite the decent quality, while the drinks were reasonable, which fits my sense of what this pub caters to. The atmosphere was quite okay, but our first encounter with the staff felt chilly, like we were a bother, and I nearly turned around and left. It warmed up to something like average after that, but first impressions only happen once. I imagine the pub mainly draws people after the Sunday league match. I’d give it three and a half stars if I could, so my rating is 3.

The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and nicely set up, with a lovely garden. The service was fast and pleasant, just the way it should be everywhere. The food might be the best I’ve ever had in a restaurant 😍. If you’re driving past, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT, IT’S WORTH IT 🫶
