We recommend trying the homemade products from Hezká chalupa. We’re regular customers now. The house is right by the pond, with parking out front and a nice place to grill in the shade of a big stone wall. One thing to keep in mind: bring cash to Strmilov, since you can’t pay by card at the restaurant here.

The apartment was fully equipped and comfortable to sleep in, and the owners were pleasant and helpful. First-class accommodation, with beautiful surroundings and plenty of places to visit nearby.

The owners were such warm, helpful people, and I was pleasantly surprised by them. I stayed with my dog, which was an option, and found the quiet location and beautifully furnished apartment a real balm for the nerves. More demanding guests should appreciate it too, and you can see it all in advance on the website. There are lots of ponds and destinations to explore nearby. I’ve already recommended the accommodation to several friends and colleagues, and I’ll be happy to come back.
