Apartmány U Vavřince

The place was great and clean, and the owner was very pleasant. What ruined our rest was a huge racket from drunk bar guests right below the apartment windows, almost all night. The bar is directly opposite. At the owner's suggestion, we called the city police, but that didn’t fix anything. Such a shame, because it spoiled the stay in beautiful Sušice.

Set in the centre of Sušice, these apartments made it easy to get to the city’s sights, shops and restaurants. They’re tastefully renovated and well equipped, a handy base for an active holiday that still gives you a quiet place to come back to.

The apartments are beautifully furnished and right on the square in Sušice. Our room was small for two, but we spent the days out on trips, so it worked fine for sleeping. What I found uncomfortable was the half-glass door with just a narrow curtain. The toilet and bathroom were in the hallway, as was the dining table and chairs, even though the listing says everything is in the room. The website says pets are welcome. We were surprised when they asked us to keep our cat in a crate whenever we were away, for the whole stay. We refused. The surroundings are lovely, and you can park right on the square, though it’s a little way from the apartment.

A really pleasant holiday. The owners were helpful, and the bathroom, kitchen and everything else looked new. It’s a great spot for outings to castles or into nature, with a shop for regional food right next door and plenty of cafes and places for food or beer around town. We had our little son with us. After our trips, he loved playing by the river with the other children while we had grilled specialties. We’ll definitely come back. :-)
